Very Good Film, But Warning...

This needs to be watched more than once, is almost several films in one and requires your attention...I admit I watched because I have been following Donna bae's career since I am a fan of slim body (too bad about the short hair). Cloud Atlas that makes you think outside the box! Not only does this movie have amazing cinematography (more surrealism than realism), it has a plot that goes beyond the routine boundaries of sci-fi. We are brought into multiple dream-like worlds that do not care for the organisms that inhabit them, but just exist to fulfill the destiny in dazzling colors. The only reason I don't give it a 8 is because of the drawn out back-story that is laid out in the book and between the main protagonists, which seems a little unclear upon first viewing and at times and doesn't add as much to the story (unless there's a sequel and we all hate those).
