Synopsis
In 2078, in the wake of a global pandemic of vampirism, a sub-species of disease-modified humans find themselves possessing extraordinary agility, enhanced strength, incredible stamina, and acute intelligence. As a result, humankind is now pushed to the brink of a brutal, worldwide civil war. Now, against the backdrop of the imminent confrontation between the government and the "others", Ultraviolet, an infected beautiful Haemophage, finds herself caught in the middle, protecting Six, a helpless nine-year-old boy who has been marked for death by the military forces of Daxus. Not for everyone
Beautiful woman. A skeletal good vs. evil premise. The rest, all predictable action (how could the vampire/hemophage heroine do anything less than kill hundreds of people to save a young boy?). I'm so glad they told us, at the end of the credits, that all characters are fiction. Violent but gore free. Colourful CGI. Lots of stunt work. Definitely not for everyone but I enjoyed it. Judging the movie within its genre, I give it a 7 (good) out of 10. {Fantasy, Comic Book like Action}
